| Top 10 Albums I Listen To At The Moment
So these are the 10 albums I dig the most right now. So not the best of all time, just the ones I find myself listening to the most now. | 1 | | Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago
Music like this isn't generally my cup of tea, but this just.. works. Utterly beautiful. So glad this album has been received so well. | 2 | | The Flashbulb Soundtrack to a Vacant Life
Seeing this on the top100 list of the decade reminded me of its brilliance, and I've found a new appreciation for this. This just owns. | 3 | | Message to Bears Departures
It's just dripping summer all over. It's so calming, so beautiful. I love laying out in the sun and reading while this is going on in the background. Works. | 4 | | Kingston Wall III - Tri-Logy
I love II. One of my all time favourites. But until recently I hadn't really paid much attention to its less brilliant younger brother, which evidently was a mistake. This has properly hooked me now. | 5 | | Burst Lazarus Bird
Dunno what to say about this. It's harsh yet beautiful. It's complex enough that I still haven't fully "got" it yet, but easy enough that I've liked it from the first listen. | 6 | | Caspian Tertia
They recently came here to play a show. I liked Caspian from a long time ago, but that gig really elevated Tertia from good to great. It's weird, but after the gig I've just had a whole new appreciation for some of these songs. | 7 | | Thrice Beggars
Well it's no Vheissu, but what is? A very different approach for Thrice, but it works for me. | 8 | | Rosetta A Determinism of Morality
After Isis Rosetta is definitely my favourite post-metal band, at least if the band members pardon me for calling it post-metal. This album gives us a more direct, more hardcore sound. And it's great! This is just one of those bands that needs the right mood. | 9 | | Pendulum Immersion
Diversity. I just like this. | 10 | | Converge Axe to Fall
Their tour is bringing them here in july, so I'm just getting ready for them. I love to listen to this when I cycle. Pumps me up. | |

06.19.10 | Lots of good stuff. If you like 1, check out Elliott Smith-Either/Or and The Antlers-Hospice, along with Nick Drake-Five Leaves Left. I understand that you normally don't listen to this kind of stuff, but those albums are absolutely beautiful. | FelixCulpa
06.19.10 | Just saw you list of the top ten album you are listening to atm and I agree with you completely on Axe to fall. When I work out I also feel as it pumps me up. I guess I should take a bike ride and listen to them too!
And where are you located? It's just that Converge is coming to Sweden where I'm at in July and you said they coming "up here in July" so I assuming your somewhere in Europe. | feav233
06.19.10 | heck yea kingston wall, only have listened to the first too though | Boissi
06.20.10 | Thanks for the recs, I'll be sure to check them out when I get the chance. I've actually been meaning to check the Antlers out for some time, just never got around to it. Gotta do it now though.
And I'm from Finland so not that far away. :p And yeah I should think it works for any physical activities. Just makes me push harder at least. |
