| Best Afi Albums
My favorite AFI albums ranked. The top 4 can be switched based on my mood as I think they are all amazing albums. The other 3 are where they are because of changed tastes over the years. | 1 | | AFI Black Sails In The Sunset
This CD is number 1 because this is when I first discovered AFI. The first song I ever heard by AFI was God Called in Sick Today and I was hooked. Other standouts on this cd are: Malleus Maleficarum, Porphyria Cutanea Tarda, No Poetic Device, and every other song is great also. | 2 | | AFI Sing The Sorrow
Standout Tracks are: Leaving Song Pt. 2, Girls Not Grey, Death of Seasons, Silver and Cold, ...But Home Is Nowhere, and the hidden track This Time Imperfect. Once again I can listen to this whole song without changing any tracks. | 3 | | AFI The Art Of Drowning
I think this is AFI's first nearly perfect CD. Black Sails is great but there are a few songs that are not great, every song on this CD is great imo. Standouts: 6 to 8, Wester, The Days Of the Phoenix, Of Greeting and Goodbyes, A Story at Three, The Lost Souls, and of course Morningstar. | 4 | | AFI Decemberunderground
Now when I said that all 4 albums can be switched, I really meant it. I enjoy all 4 of these albums alot and give almost all of them the same rating, DU took AFI in a new direction, as every CD does, and it was a little more poppy, some people didn't like it, I liked it alot and thought it was another great album. Standouts: Love Like Winter, Summer Shudder, Affliction, Kiss and Control, The Killing Lights, 37mm, Endlessly She Said, this is one of there more complete albums I think in terms of all songs having the same feel. | 5 | | AFI Very Proud Of Ya
One of the first real punk albums I ever heard and can still listen to today. Alot of good punk songs on here, some of the standouts: He Who Laughs Last.., Fishbowl, File 13, This Secret Ninja, Soap Box Derby, Advances In Modern Technology, Wake-Up Call, and a few other standouts, overall solid punk album. | 6 | | AFI Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes
The followup to Very Proud Of Ya had some high expectations from me and it barely missed it which is why I rate it lower than Very Proud Of Ya even though there are some tracks on here that blow that CD away. Standouts: Three Reasons, A Single Second (still one of their best songs to date), Third Season and ph Low. | 7 | | AFI Answer That and Stay Fashionable
Overall a ok album. It can be ranked either 6 or 7, but because of the quality of the audio I'm putting it 7, even though Brownie Bottom Sundae is still one of my favorite songs by them. Standouts: Brownie Bottom Sundae, Wanna Get a Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One), High School Football Hero, and a few other decent tracks. | |

09.10.09 | Ugh, take out Decemberunderground for All Hallows and you got yourself a list. | JKennedy87

09.10.09 | Don't listen to these fags you're absolutely right, apart from the fact that STS needs to be #1. You still describe it as perfect so no big deal. | GymLeaderBrock
