Scene Kid Road Trip Playlist

Yeah, I recently went on a road trip with a bunch of my friends around muh state. Just a bunch of scene kids what with our multicolored hair, piercings, tight clothing and really generic looks cuz we're so indie and original. My iPod was broken, so we had to listen to my friends' stuff, and we all had to vote on what to put next. The majority of it was scenecore, but yeah.
1Greeley Estates
Go West Young Man, Let the Evil Go East

This was actually pretty nostalgic, since I remember this being the first real Post-Hardcore album I actually bought/got before I knew of pirating. To this day I still find it to be a charming and talented effort.
2Shpongle
Tales of the Inexpressible

I was surprised these people actually listened to Shpongle. I was thoroughly impressed, I only listened to Ineffible Mysteries and this was very entertaining.
3The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Worse Than Alone

Realllly fuckin' awesome stuff. I love this band so much, and all my friends are still pissed at the members for breaking up and quitting music forever.
4Every Time I Die
New Junk Aesthetic

Very original, extremly good metalcore release. It was really fun chilling while listening to these guys, what with their fingers all over the fretboards and the singer's throat shredding over the microphone.
5 Heavy Heavy Low Low
Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watchin

It's like The Number Twelve, if 12 were extremely mediocre and had br00tal BREAKDOWWWWNS
6After the Burial
Rareform

Not bad at all, actually. Could be a lot better, and would be improved minus breakdowns, but somewhat enjoyable.
7The Blood Brothers
Young Machetes

I'm so glad mah girlfriends like The Blood Brothers. Even though it's the weakest album, I still love this one.
8Of Machines
As if Everything Was Held in Place

Actually very enjoyable/original for your contemporary Post-Hardcore album. Pull together all types of influences, pretty diverse and technical. They just have the worst hair EVER.
9Dance Gavin Dance
Downtown Battle Mountain

I would have much preferred Happiness, but as I was in the car with a bunch of squealing sceney chicks, I was overcome with the Jonny Craig.
10 Me
Getting laid

cuz I did this Valentine's weekend. BA-BOOM!
