mkmusic1995 03.19.23	Agree with Wax Wings at 1, definitely the most complete song on here. Also agree with Silhouette at 9, I like the effort, I enjoy the ambient soundscapes but it's not super memorable.

Spencer has written some great melodies in this band, but that song makes it sound like he doesn't know a thing about melody. Also Wildfire slaps tits and not sure how we're even still debating this. Heavy, melodic, sax solo, I mean it really has it all
AlexKzillion 03.20.23	ah man zagreus is like everything i could want in a periphery song. got the crazy djents, blast beats, big reptile type chorus, clean guitar solo... and the "cause were falling apart, right from the start you and i" part is a personal favorite spencer highlight in an album full of them. also the juggernaut parts just really get me nostalgic cause periphery really is one of the only favorite bands of mine i really have been listening to since they started more or less, and zagreus really comes off to me like a "yeah we still got it" type song i'll concede zagreus is the most stereotypical periphery song on this album, but i see it as "them in their bag doing what they do best" more so than "damn they've really run out of ideas"
peartnoy 03.20.23	I'm with Alex on this one (obviously). But I'll go even further and say that the second half of Zagreus feels pretty fresh to me. It's not genre bending or anything but that clean vocal part reminds me quite a bit of something Protest the Hero would write nowadays. Never quite heard that in a Periphery song before. But yeah overall it's just a really really well done Periphery song where everything clicks
