Jethro42 05.17.22	Congrats to Zig, the CHAMPION! It's well deserved. You were surrounded by lots of solid competitors, and you found your way through! As I said, I digged Frogg Cafe, Novela, All Traps on Earth... I like all of the albums, which I gave a 4 almost everywhere. Apofenia might be my fave.
TheIntruder 05.17.22	Like I already said in my comment in the Finals, my favourite albums are: Movin' On, Memento Z Banalnym Tryptykiem, Apofenia, Visitation, A Drop Of Light, Barbaro, Melody Of A Muddled Mason and Bateless Edge. This was a great tourney with so many great albums. It was a pity that I had not much time to can participate with an album and in all the votations. Maybe next year I can do so. Congrats to all participants especially to Zig. A great thanks to Jethro that was a great new host like Friday was.

I created the tourney according to Friday's model, so all credit goes to him. You're pretty much like me; You dig most of the albums. I'll most likely buy Frogg Cafe and couple others, such as Il Giardino Onirico (if I manage to find it) and All Traps on Earth. It had grown on me big time!

Jethro42 05.17.22	@Shark; Among the ones that haven't passed the first round, the big threats were Frogg Cafe, Supersister and All Traps on Earth. Slapp Happy was also a good avant prog pop album. I for one will listen to other SBB's albums, that's for sure.
Jethro42 05.17.22	Lol, Diva's curse touched the whole tournament, which is a charm. That was a tournament with lots of reversal, lots of tiebreaking and pressure. I really liked Axis, Myth. A good road music, really.

Jethro42 05.17.22	@Myth; Sometimes one just needs a good amount of catchiness to make a difference, while other albums don't offer enough and pass under the radar because of that. Your entry is basically jazzy throughout and well balanced, interspersed with clever prog arrangements and earworms as bonuses. It's one of the tournament's strenght for me, that's for sure.

e210013 05.18.22	As I already mentioned my fave albums of the tournament, the albums that belong to my first prog league, are A Drop Of Light, Apofenia, Barbaro, Melody Of A Muddled Mason and Visitation. Movin' On, Bateless Edge, Memento Z Banalnym Tryptykiem, Leaving The Land and especially Green Eyed God, an allbum that never cessed to grown up with my listenings, belong to my second prog league. Of the albums of my first league, besides mine, Apofenia is, to me, the confirmation album of the tournament. I had already read many great things about the album and the band, but I never had the opportunity to check the album before. The other three albums represent to me the three great discoveries of the tournament. As a conclusion, I agree with Friday, this was one of the best tournaments. And I know that he knows perfectly well what he said. Of the five tournaments that I participated, the five last ones, this was probabbly the best of all, I'm talking only in terms of albums. I think that it can perfecly be seen with the so many tigh journeys, in some cases only decided in the last minute. A real problem to our host.
e210013 05.18.22	As a complement to my previous comment, very short as is usual (lol), I must say one more thing. I need to thanks to Friday, the man who had this magnificent idea. He is the man. And I need to thanks to Jethro too, one of the men that participated in all tournaments and that always live this tournaments with great passion. I really think that he lives his life always with a great passion too. So, many thanks to him too, because he raised the prog torch very high, in the same vein of our first host. He is the right man for the job too. As a conclusion, we are waiting for the tournament in the next year that surelly will be as great as all the others. And thanks to all of you. Prog deserves this and we all deserves this too. We'll see us in the next tournament. Cheers.

Sure, e21, we have to thank Friday13th, the instigator of the tournament since 8 years (8 tournaments), and our loyal and efficient host. He did it with an ease and professionalism. Because of his retirement's announcement, I started to think it's worth a replacement, and here I am, doing what I can, and I ended up liking it. So see you next year for another prog tournament. Hope to see you there again, Friday! I will do my ranking later today. It's a pleasure to see all the love for Apofenia. It's weird, during the Elimination Round, I had a comfortable advantage over Circus, and then, in the Semi Finals, Circus surpassed me. It's like if there had more people liking Apofenia in the Elimination Rd, and more than half of the contestants definately preferring Circus for the Semi-Finals, which caused Apofenia's loss, all of a sudden.

bgillesp 05.18.22	I think the people that loved Apofenia loved it as a top 1-3 favorite in the competition while also not always enjoying Circus as much. Those who preferred Circus either also loved Apofenia but not as much, or they didn’t have Circus as their favorite but still preferred it to Apofenia. That would explain the discrepancy in votes between the last two rounds

I also thank you to include me as a guy who already makes a difference for the tournaments. You're right, I approach them with passion, and it helps to do a good job as a host. It's not always easy, but the passion wins. Also, I'm glad you place Apofenia among those at your top. Long live prog. Feel it!

Jethro42 05.19.22	Okay, I think I understand now. In the Elimination Rd, going with the tendancy offered, it would be Apofenia - almost - all the way. This changed for the Semi-Finals. Because of the choice left, people tend to vote for Circus as an ultime favorite, even if they liked Apofenia all the same. It's a question of tendancy. I accidentally lost my text, so I had to redo. Sorry for any confusion.
