Protest the Hero is simply an all around amazing band.A spectacular rythym section to follow up on the amazing lead.The drums are great,keeping everything tight,which is complicated since all the weird timing and tempo changes.The bassist is just so creative,good funky bass lines that just gets you groovin,and is just so clean and smooth sounding through out all there albums,mostly in the more recent ones.The guitarists arent anything short of brilliant.Good riffs and slaps,good harmonies and very clean playing as well.They make everything work.And the vocals are without a doubt the best i've heard in a long while.So high and pretty.I like the "singing" more than the screaming.But the screaming fits in its parts.Just an overly amazing band. | | 2 | Between the Buried and Me
Pure brilliance.There albums are all so epic. I love there use of atonal and chromatical scales.It's so fun to listen to.It akes me want to ride a bike down the street.The guitarists are amazing,as well as the bass player.And the Drummer is clean a heck.The singers lyrics are awesome,and his vocals are sick bra.They are the shit. | | 3 | Killswitch Engage
