How Do You Listen To Music?

How do you usually listen to music? Listen to all of one band's songs nonstop, an album from start to finish, make mixes or shuffles? Do you play music while you're doing stuff around the house, listen to it in the car or on the bus, stop what you're doing and focus on it, or what?
1LCD Soundsystem
Sound of Silver

Listening to this right now on my computer skipping around to the songs I'm into
2Coheed and Cambria
In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3

For some reason I never listen to this album all the way through. I listen just to whatever song I'm really
into at any given time. Right now it's The Velourium Camper I
3Between The Buried And Me
Colors

Perhaps for obvious reasons I try to listen to this album all the way through
4Isis
Panopticon

I usually fall asleep to this album or sometimes read while it's on
5Opeth
Blackwater Park

More sleep jamz
6Converge
Axe To Fall

I like to drive to this album. A lot.
7The Postal Service
Give Up

More good driving music particularly at night. I also drummed to some of it this morning
8Aesop Rock
Labor Days

Good for listening while Facebooking, reading, texting, etc.
9Arcade Fire
Funeral

Great for going on winter drives to. I try to listen to this album start to finish but some of the songs are
great standalone particularly Rebellion (Lies) and Wake Up
10Mastodon
Blood Mountain

All of Mastodon's albums are best appreciated by listening with undivided attention. This one is kind of a
weird exception. I mostly use this for driving, getting pumped up, or doing anything active.
11Green Day
American Idiot

Ideal for group singalongs particularly when your friends were 12 when this album came out and know
every song
12Death Cab For Cutie
Plans

This is music everyone can agree on. More good driving music and the songs are great to learn to play on
any instruments. Ben Gibbard never had to ask for a girl's number again after writing "I Will Follow You
Into The Dark"
13 Godspeed You! Black Emperor
F#A#infinity

I usually play this while working on art or doing something creative that is occupying my attention.
14Queens Of The Stone Age
Era Vulgaris

This album sucks and should not be listened to under any circumstances
15Queens Of The Stone Age
Songs For The Deaf

Good for driving through the desert or long car drives
16Radiohead
Kid A

Beginning to end, undivided attention. Preferably with headphones
17At The Drive-In
Relationship Of Command

Good for doing anything active such as driving or working out. It's also a really good listen just to get into
18Baroness
Blue Record

Red Album was a total "working on art" or zone-out album for me. This I think will be best heard when I
see them live with BTBAM and Mastodon in April. JAAAAAAAAAKE LEEEEEEEEG
19Los Campesinos!
Romance Is Boring

Good driving music particularly with a group. Also nice for parties
20Have Heart
Songs To Scream At The Sun

This album is the tops when it comes to getting passionate as fuck about unhappy children in Boston
