I need recs.
HI everyone. It's time for my one list a year. I need some new recs. You can take a look at my ratings, if you want, but I'm open to anything. I'm going to put some of my favorite stuff below, but I'll give it all a shot. Obviously, I'd prefer stuff you like rather than jokes.
I'll add 'em to the list, and give my thoughts and a rating. I might also do some youtube videos on certain songs, if I feel the desire.
REC AWAY PLZ. Let's do two per user, if this doesn't get traction, I'll let people do more than two. Give me a little description and a link if you can, if only to make my life easier :]

Mind Tracing the Going Down
Mind Tracing the Going Down - Casavir [Post-Hardcore]
This gave me some really big Primus vibes. I don't know if that's what they were going for, but that's what I got out of it. I don't think it was a bad song, per se, but it felt a little aimless, and I think it would have benefited from being a bit shorter. Not too bad though. Good bass, kinda weird, meandering guitar.
Cracked Brain - Casavir [Thrash Metal]
As compared to the last one, this was really short and sweet. Awesome riffing, and the bass is very good as well, even though it's buried in the mix a little bit. I'm usually not huge on thrash, but I like this quite a bit, and would be interested in hearing more. Good rec!
Glass - JayEnder
This was cool. It had a nostalgic, kind of ethereal vibe to the song. I don't think it was anything spectacular, instrumentally speaking, but it was just a very pleasant listen, and I can see myself going back to it.
Feast of Love
Honey Pot - madrigal30
This wasn't too bad. I feel like if I had heard it a few years ago, or when it came out, I would have liked it a lot more. My music taste has changed quite a bit, and this style isn't as much my jam as it used to be. It's still good, but not quite my cup of tea.
Hollywoodesque - budgie
Selling Out - budgie
Idk, I'll pick a song at random unless you have a specific one in mind - BAT

I'm counting on you for the good shit, sputbros.
Plaid Retina - Mind Tracing the Going Down: post-hardcore (1991)
Destruction - Cracked Brain: thrash metal (1990)
Pretty chill band I found recently. This song in particular is a jam. I don't even think they have a Sput profile.
pity sex -- feast of love
these are not inspired by the bands you listed, btw, i only know explosions of the sky and i dont listen to much post rock
edit : flowerpower or title track
Hey Dino, I think I have something for ya. Indie rock/americana with Brent Hinds from Mastodon. Check this: http://westendmotel3.bandcamp.com/album/bad-with-names-good-with-faces
List is updated. I'll be digging into these tomorrow. Looking forward to it!
Also, I'm looking more for song recs than album recs, but obviously if I dig the songs, I"ll be looking into more of it/them.
Oh sorry then. Any song should do it. I liked "Not Messing Around" the most.
Cool! Here's two of my faves, don't know if you'd dig but there's only one way to find out!
The Gathering - Souvenirs (great vibes, they describe it is Trip Rock, with some nice electronic influences and amazing guitar atmosphere. Oh and Anneke. Check the t/t and Jelena for instance) https://youtu.be/0B9YrbCfjPw
The Great Yawn - Botanica (beautiful, summery, colourful vibes from South Africa, just a lovely record all the way), it's on Deezer, Apple Music, Spotify, etc. This one is really cool https://youtu.be/F05A0ryhdgE
Haru Nemuri - narashite (noise pop/j-rock)
Alvvays - Archie, Marry Me (twee pop/shoegaze)
Cousin Boneless- Possession. It's a cross between gypsy music and scramz
These New South Whales- I Do What God Tells Me To Do. It is catchy garage punk.
Got through the first 3. I am not exactly prolific, but I will get through whatever is rec'd to me. Scout's promise.
Hammock - everything and nothing
Turnover - peripheral vision
Beach House - 7
Wild nothing - nocturne
Swarms - old Raves end
Stumbleine - spiderwebbed
Souvenirs and Narashite are both top picks from fab artists. Will have a think and bump this later
