Best Of 2009

While I didn't have as much time to spare to search for new music as I did in previous years, I still found some awesome albums this year. I'm hopeing next year I pay more attention of the new stuff coming out since I will have less of a work load for school next semester. Anyways here are my favorites on what I could listen to...
1Dredg
The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion

While I was never a huge Dredg fan, I always liked this band. This year, they finally broke through for me with this amazing album. Really surprised me with how good it was because "Catch without Arms" was my least favorite.
2Between the Buried and Me
The Great Misdirect

WHile amazing, kind of disappointed me because it wasn't as good as "Colors". Then again hardly anything is as good as colors.
3Sights and Sounds
Monolith

Come out of nowhere award!
4Converge
Axe To Fall

No Heros was good but this album takes it to the next level and then some.
5Dream Theater
Black Clouds and Silver Linings

For some reason this album clicked...don't ask why.

Sing The Word Hope In Four-Part Harmony

Randomly trying something out award...

Not my favorite Doom year but this was pretty unexpectedly very good.
