Zoo 09.05.08	If you're just getting into Testament, starting off with The New Order or Practice What You Preach might be a better idea.
istaros 09.05.08	that Testament album is ok, but it's far from their best and almost not an album in its own right. it sounds more like a retrospective of Testament's career development. Zoo's right on - 'The New Order' is a better bet, unless you've already listened to both albums and decided you like 'Formation' a lot more Insomnium and especially Skyfire are both killer. that's probably their best album, although 'Spectral' does have a couple of songs that surpass it. also, listen to 'Cybion' by Kalisia. i'm sure you've seen it suggested already. either way, it's some of the best melodeath i've ever heard. i don't even like mdm for the most part and i had to give it a 4, which might become a 4.5
