09.08.22 My Favorite Albums (Opinion)

My Favorite Albums (Opinion)

A list of my personal favorite albums. Most likely not the best choices to some people, but they are MY favorites, so just understand that these mean a lot to me, personally.
1A Day To Remember
What Separates Me from You

I wrote a review of this album, but didn't go super in depth to how much it means to me. It's just my album. I love everything about it.
2Three Days Grace
One-X

This was my favorite for years. I still adore it but the band has fallen out of favor for me and I have outgrew a handful of tracks. That said, Never Too Late saved my life and is my favorite song of all time. The whole album is very special and nostalgic for me.
3Green Day
American Idiot

My favorite concept album. I love the story told in this album, and it's one of the only albums I like that my friends and family can get into.
4Rise Against
Siren Song of the Counter Culture

Like WSMFY, I am always listening to this one. It's a 40 minute little hardcore venture that never pulls its punches.
5Trivium
Shogun

Shogun is such a massive album in scale that never lets up. The singles are all fucking perfection and a lot of the deep cuts are just as, if not more awesome.
6Breaking Benjamin
Dear Agony

The perfect combination of songs that I can headbang to (Hopeless, Crawl, I will not bow) and songs that hit me right in the feels (Give me a sign, Dear Agony, Anthem of the angels). BB was my first favorite band and they're still high up.
7My Chemical Romance
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Not the biggest MCR fan but this album fucking slays. I'm not okay was an anthem of my youth, as emo as that probably sounds. Moments like Thank you for the venom and Ghost of you also never get old, the latter hitting me where it hurts.
9Bullet for my valentine
Scream Aim Fire

I love this album for similar reasons to Shogun, huge metalcore album with lots of scope. Waking the demon is an all time favorite tune of mine, Gorgeous chorus on that one.
10SECRETS
Fragile Figures

Jesus, this was a pleasant surprise. THis album kicks ass and deserves more attention. The heavy hitters Ready for repair, How we survive, and LIve together, die alone are incredible. And don't forget that gorgeous pop punk tune, Maybe Next May, which still holds a great breakdown.
