Probably in my top 3 bands by this point, thanks in no small part to one particular music snob classic album, I'll explain any placements if you really want, but I'll just give a little bit of a comment at most for these placements | 8 | | Talking Heads Little Creatures
now theres nothing intrinsically wrong with catchy music, but at one point or another you have to draw the line in the sand for catchy radio fodder... | 7 | | Talking Heads True Stories
this one surprised me because i didnt expect something this... ok | 6 | | Talking Heads Naked
THIS one surprised me because imo its heavily underrated on this site. 2.9??? with cool water and nothing but flowers?? you people are crazy | 5 | | Talking Heads More Songs About Buildings and Food
this is a good one, nearly beaten out by naked but fortunately for this album it has the big country on it which is like top 10 talking heads songs | 4 | | Talking Heads Speaking in Tongues
this is drifting into the poppy tendencies but doesn't fall victim to the 95% filler that little creatures does | 3 | | Talking Heads Fear of Music
this one is pretty close to being number 2, i should revisit it. heaven, animals and life during wartime are heads staples, and eno brings the nervous energy of 77 to a new height | 2 | | Talking Heads Talking Heads: 77
a classic, surely, and a worthy one too. raw paranoia and jitters from david byrne with a stripped down and clean backdrop to boot | 1 | | Talking Heads Remain in Light
what else? seriously, what else could ever top this list? i'd like to think i'm a big music listener, but i can't for the life of me think of anything that matches up to this, in quality or style. eno, byrne and the heads absolutely peaked on all forms of creativity on this one. the rawness, the scepticism, the byrnesque deep thought just stands colossally over any contemporary, and over their own work. perfect 5 all day every day. | |

03.22.22 | I like quite a few Talking Heads tracks, but I really don't understand the massive boner people have for this band. | Ryus
03.22.22 | best band, 1 is goated. 1, 3, and 4 are my three favorite full-length albums. "stop making sense" and "the name of this band" just cement their status as one of the all time greats and are probably my two favorite works by them besides 1. | CottonSalad
03.22.22 | I've still never gotten into their stuff, one day | ArsMoriendi
03.22.22 | Justice for 8
I like it WAY more than 7 and 6
1, 3, and 4 are the best though | z00sh
03.22.22 | Top 3 is correct. Still need to listen to 4 tho | IsisScript80
03.23.22 | “I like quite a few Talking Heads tracks, but I really don't understand the massive boner people have for this band.”
I don’t feel too dissimilar, but that ‘Stop Making Sense’ film of theirs puts the massive boners into context. | BillyBrill
03.24.22 | no justice for 8, 8 is BLAND |
