mysterious saxophone woman
1talking heads
speaking in tongues

I was just walking through a dark parking lot with my dog listening to This Must Be The Place (the studio version, which honestly feels like an outtake compared to the live Stop Making Sense version) and toward the end I heard this dissonant melody faintly in the background
2talking heads
stop making sense

I thought, is this some weird thing they added to the song that I never noticed before? But then I noticed it getting louder. I paused the song and realized it was a saxophone. I figured, oh there's somebody in this parking lot playing creepy saxophone music from their car, alright. But then I looked over to the left and saw it was actually a woman playing an actual saxophone

born to run

She was walking slowly in a jacket, even though it's September and not cold, with a dog tied to her waist, just meandering around and playing ominous music on her sax. There was nobody else around. She looked over at me and I told her "sounds good." She didn't say anything or stop playing. Just turned around, and slowly walked out of the parking lot and onto the sidewalk. Who knows where she went from there
4Motoi Sakuraba
Dark Souls Soundtrack

Honestly it felt like she was some sort of Dark Souls boss or something. If I had gotten any closer she probably would have gone into attack mode. Or maybe she just does this in random places around town, and I'll see her again some day, like a real life version of that bird from Breath of the Wild that plays the accordion
5Manaka Kataoka
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Sele

anyways it felt weird filming her from across the parking lot but her aura was too powerful so I had to so here you go
