Tarnished Legacies

These bands started strong, but have only tarnished their legacy with subsequent releases

Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy

Prime example of a band with huge promise, and then screwing that promise with their last album.
2Kid Rock
Born Free

Not gonna lie - loved some early Kid Rock albums. But....Kid Rock gone Country and Cult 45. Gone out of my library.
3Sugar Ray
14:59

You went from proto-nu-metal to this? Most don't know that Sugar Ray started pretty (early 90's) heavy and was part of the SoCal rock scene of the time. Along came Fly - and anything heavy went out the window, except for the first teaser track on this album. Arseholes for that.
4Aaron Lewis
Town Line

Tormented and Dysfunction - both great early albums. Didn't step off the train when Staind went mainstream. But - Aaron Lewis, another gone Country and Cut 45. Off that train - Staind is essentially unlistenable to me nowadays.
5Lostprophets
The Fake Sound Of Progress

Lead singer did what?
6Motley Crue
Saints of Los Angeles

Retired once. Screwed your long-time guitarist. Just retire already - you’re done.
7Ted Nugent
The Music Made Me Do It

Stranglehold was good and all - but can you please shut the hell up. Damn, if I see one more damn quote of yours on Blabbermouth...
8As I Lay Dying
The Powerless Rise

Lead singer did what?
9Linkin Park
One More Light

It's wrong to speak ill of the Dead. But Chester's death was the only reason this album (and Band) didn't fall flat on its face upon release of One More Light. Like a few songs here and there, but really don't know what this band was thinking with Minutes to Midnight and thereafter.
10Corey Taylor

From Bellovddd - "corey taylor has runied whatever good he had left in the musical world"
