My Cars Ranked (100th List)
For my 100th list, ranking my favorite personal cars as well as my Family cars when I was young. Not that any of you give a damn, but hey - why not! |
1 | | White Zombie La Sexorcisto-Devil Music Vol. 1
Black Sunshine - My 2012 Black Ford Mustang Convertible, V6 - This Mustang was tuned for street race driving, and was a true joy to take out on a Fall or Spring day. Too bad my boys got so big I couldn't take anyone anywhere. Also had a subwoofer in the back seat, that made the sound in this car wicked; but prevented this car from being family functional. Sadly had to let it go. |
2 | | Kyuss Blues for the Red Sun
Green Machine - My 2000 Honda CRV. Used to take this front-wheel drive beast anywhere and everywhere. All mountain roads were mine to drive and explore! Also used to let the back down into a bed and camp out in the middle of anywhere. My friends installed a sweet stereo - so the jams were always rocking. The first album I listened to in this car was Ill Nino - Revolution/Revolucion. |
3 | | Coal Chamber Coal Chamber
Big Truck - The Family 1979 Brown Ford F-150. My father fixed this truck up, installing a 400 cubic inch engine. For many years, it was my ride. Took it here and there, and almost ran it into a telephone pole while mudding (younger years). Had an upgraded tape player - always jammed Alice in Chains - Dirt and Jar of Flies in it. My father ended up selling it from under me, when I moved away. Oh well |
4 | | Truckfighters Mania
Our current 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Denali. Never drove a truck this big or powerful. We use it to pull our 37-foot RV, and half the time you don't even know the RV is back there. Has a sweet Bose sound system. |
5 | | Deftones White Pony
My father's 1990 red Ford Mustang 5.0 (25th Anniversary). This beast was tricked out and supercharged to 500 HP. My father would let me drive it to school and back (a 1 hr round trip), and later on to Junior College and back (a 45 minute round trip). Never drove a car that had so much get-up-and go as this one. |
6 | | Dandy Brown Scattered Days
Santa Fe Trail. My current 2014 Black Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. Great sound system and a full transparent roof. Closest I could get to my old black Ford Mustang convertible, and able to carry all 3 of my boys with me. A great ride. |
7 | | Machine Head The Blackening
My Father's 1979 Black Pontiac TransAm - Bird One. I recall this car vividly from my childhood. A beautiful, top notch car. My father ended up selling it when he bought the Mustang, and the kid that bought it wrecked/totaled it within a week. Sweet ride |
8 | | Radiohead OK Computer
Fitter Happier. 2009 Honda Fit Sport. Loved the gas mileage this car got. Small, compact, and designed for a commute. Drove it when I used to commute daily in Hotlanta. A picture of Honda excellence, but traded it in for the 2012 Mustang. |
9 | | Tremonti A Dying Machine
1985 Lincoln Mark VII. The first car I ever remember my Family buying. It was dark blue - and a bit of a lemon. The airbag suspension used to always go out, making for one hell of a rough ride. But when it rode well, it was a sleek ride.Had a nice tape player installed. I drove if for several years as well, to and from school, and in College. But unfortunately totaled it in downtown Atlanta in a fender bender. |
10 | | Fu Manchu King of the Road
Boogie Van. My family's GMC Conversion Van was a pimp ride. When I was in middle/high school, we traveled in this everywhere, and I always got the entire back seat. Would sleep for hours on the back seat, which also folded down electronically into a bed. Lots of good times and good trips with Family/friends in this ride. |
11 | | Kyuss Welcome to Sky Valley
Odyssey. 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring. This was my own family's ride, in which my Wife and I took our sons everywhere. It had a built in TV, which kept my boys occupied when young, as well as DVD audio throughout. Still miss this van for being a kick-ass family mover. |
12 | | Demon Cleaner Demon Cleaner
Damned Dodge. 1994 Black Dodge Intrepid. This was my college car - not the best, but I drove it all over downtown Atlanta. |
13 | | Deftones Adrenaline
Bored. We replaced the Honda Oddysey with a 2017 Toyota Sienna. A bit of a boring car - nothing special. |
14 | | Pain of Salvation Panther
1976 Mercury Cougar. This was my Mom's car, but I can't really remember it. Just seen it in pictures and vaguely remember laying in the back window area when I was really young. Would have been a sweet ride though. |
15 | | House of Broken Promises Twisted
Toranado. My Father loved race cars and pimp rides. The pimp ride I recall the most is his Oldsmobile Toranado. Definitely a comfortable ride. But not really my thing. |
