RunOfTheMill 01.25.26	Hey venin, don't think we've ever spoken before. I checke dhtis on a whim and I love supporting sputter music. Your instrumentals are awesome, evocative, and touching. Honestly songwriting is pretty stellar. I agree with Lasssie though, the vox I think, are not mixed great. Idk if it needs some layering or what, but it's especially evident with the cleans. Hope I'm not being too harsh, there's a lot to be impressed with here.
Beardog 01.25.26	Yeah vocal mixing is indeed off, also not in tune everywhere but oh well, can't say I do that better lol. All in all, with improved mixing this could be really nice cause musically this for sure has potential! Would also love a bit more production on the keys and drums, sounds a bit too 'plug-in' but that's also me nitpicking haha But congrats, great foundation to start building upon! You for sure have songwriting talent

Lasssie 01.25.26	For me this could be great but my main complaint is mostly the clean vox. The plug in sound comes with the DIY territory to some degree, but im an amateur myself in that department!

arthropod 01.25.26	Precautiously listened to the first Dead Inside Like Me, it's amazing.
Emim 01.25.26	Really did enjoy a lot of the riffs and melodic lines, both synth and gutair, but the vocals and lyrics really drag this down. Some of that I'm sure could be tightened up just in the mixing department, but I think some vocal training would help out a lot. There's a lot of potential here and tbh I enjoyed aspects of it way more than I would've guessed. Also as a drummer the drums sound very programmed. Drums are tough to make sound natural, but throwing a little more variance into fills and repeating patterns would go a long way.

veninblazer 01.26.26	Thanks for all the feedback! I had a lot of trouble with a lot of the elements admittedly, but I think I was also partially trying to migrate this project over to a new environment in spots towards the end. Might explain some of the roughness in the instrumental production. Vocal production has always been a bit of a weaker spot for me, partly due to dissatisfaction with the way my vocals sound recorded. There's an echoey reverb that I tried to tame and could never quite figure out. No worries, you all were being completely fine. Also, I'm waiting for Sputnik to approve the new artwork, because I swapped out the original image for another one. Didn't even realize it was AI. Silly me. As for Noctus... due to technical limitations I would have to say maybe we can collaborate on a future project instead!
