04.05.18 | Even though OK Computer is my favorite album by them, I've always been disappointed by the Tourist.
My favorite by them is definitely motion picture soundtrack |
Slex
04.05.18 | A Wolf At The Door is their best song imo so yeah thatd be my pick |
GreyShadow
04.05.18 | cool to see love for Separator
i'm not confident enough to rank these but Motion Picture Soundtrack is my favorite and True Love Waits makes me cry more than most Radiohead tracks
and McP3, The Tourist is one of my least favorites but OK Computer is my favorite album so I get you completely |
BlownSpeakers
04.05.18 | @McP3000 and Greyshadow, I thought I was the only one who wasn't a big fan of The Tourist. |

04.05.18 | This is probably the only discipline where I see The Bends on top of the bunch. |
BlownSpeakers
04.05.18 | GreyShadow, Separator is awesome. And I'll have to admit, I did cry the first time I heard True Love Waits on AMSP.
As for Motion Picture Soundtrack, I always love it when I hear it, but I could never tell ya how it goes if I don't have it on lol. |
BlownSpeakers
04.05.18 | RikRoach7, yeah this is usually the case huh. I actually have the Bends in my top 4, but a lot of people on here don't like it. |
onionbubs

Street Spirit (Fade Out)
Blow Out |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | I might agree with you on closers>openers. Only track that makes me hesitant about that is Airbag, which is ma jam. |
Rik VII
04.09.18 | Nah, I'd say openers > closers. Their closers are mostly good songs that work perfectly well in the position they were put in and become amazing for that reason. The openers are mostly amazing no matter the context. They also just know how to create iconic album starts, catchy first few notes that keep you hooked, like Airbag's first guitar chords, the electronic intro of 15 Steps, etc etc. |
theTourist
04.09.18 | My order is close to the reverse - The Tourist is #1 followed closely by Blow Out. I wish I'd been in Japan for Blow Out's surprise appearance at the last two shows of Radiohead's 2008 tour. I think they played it because they know it's a great song and a forgotten one at that, and it was a killer concert closer on Live at the Astoria. That said, every Radiohead closer has been brilliant. |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | A lot of good points roach. I guess that's the nature of openers on most albums, to be the hook. I would say it depends on what you're going for, I would say openers are more about the hook and closers tend to be more weighty. But there are some sick albums that do end with singles, one of my favorite's being Alice in Chains "Would." |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | Tourist, we are on opposite ends of the spectrum lol. I used to hate the tourist but it's grown on me over the years. I think what annoyed me for a while was the slooowwww down! |

This performance of Motion Picture Soundtrack is an absolute tearjerker |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | Wow, that was stunning. What a way to honor someone. |
BigHans
04.09.18 | Just amazes me how everyone always hates on Pablo Honey. |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | Don't worry Hans, I like Pablo Honey more than Amnesiac if that does anything for ya. Pretty much no one agrees with me on that one lol. |
BigHans
04.09.18 | Pablo Honey obliterates Amnesiac |
Dylan620
04.09.18 | 4 > 8 > 7 > 5 > 6 > 3 > 2 (IMBW ver) > 9 > 2 (AMSP ver) > 1
All are at least 4/5 though |
DoofusWainwright
04.09.18 | 8 should be compacted and launched into the vacuum of space
Then obliterated by lazer fire |
KingdomOfTyrant
04.09.18 | Separator is 1
A Wolf at the Door is 2
Life in a Glasshouse is 3 |
BlownSpeakers
04.09.18 | Doof, I feel that way about Morning Mr. Magpie. Sounds like Radiohead parodying themselves. |
