1) How can a band release sonically and stylistically near identical music over albums and decades, all whilst playing it live in between? Do they not get sick and tired of smelling their own shit or are they too afraid to change their sound, or do they eventually just treat it like a boring day job because the fans still seem to like it?

2) Why do so many bands settle for horseshit cover art? Fact is a lot of people judge albums by their covers, and if you want to maximise your vinyl sales you want to make damn sure it's got some decent artwork because that's the reason half of us bother buying them.

3) Am I really expected to believe that said indie folk artist just wrought 12 sincere heartfelt songs into existence during a 5 week stint in the studio in between tours? For some genres this isn't an issue but for those who try to position their songs as being authentic and passionate etc it seems a bit unlikely they have 10+ tracks of that calibre inside them every year or two. But you can't blame them - they need to make a living and the industry demands it. Nonetheless It's a thought that enters my mind quite often when listening to certain genres.

My grandpa said he used to have this on vinyl record but he decided to throw it away along with most of his vinyls when they moved houses...
