Overlooked winter 2023
Nearly missed most of these myself, tbh. Ok, there is actually a record released back in October on the list, but I thought it deserves more attention as well. If at least a couple users here give a listen to some of these LPs it would be nice. Just something to be occupied with while you're all eagerly waiting for ATUM Act III. |

Valesa - Chapter I: Velvet Prison
I guess this is my favorite album of 2022. They're synth heavy this time, but it's really a pastiche of different genres, and Tom Waits vibes are not going away as well. Quite a lot of interludes also, which is a shame. Not because they're boring or redundant, but because most of those interludes could have been developed into a great song, instead of being just a teaser of what could have been.

Very quirky and unorthodox progressive rock duo from Norway. The first album is especially interesting, the second is basically Circa Survive with some added value. Haven't heard their latest one yet.
