I also know of plenty of very "priviledged" individuals, as the left would define them, that have very staunch stances of being pro-protest/looting, making excuses for the violence and looting from the comfort of their own home without any actual skin in the game.

What I'm not for are people who justify and advocate the looting and violence that's occurring, and there are plenty of people justifying the vile acts that are going on. You may find it trivial, but I do not know how you can have a civilized society when a vast majority of people advocate for the looting and destruction of private property along with assaulting anyone in your way.
