|Neek's November 2019 Mixtape|
I've been listening to music in my car a lot on CDs lately since it doesn't have bluetooth or a cassette player, so I made a mixtape of songs I couldn't stop listening to lately, and I'd love to do it monthly. Anyway, here was my mixtape for this month :)
"Size of the Moon"
I wonder what it feels like
To stop feeling so alive
What if we could wake up in five years and things'd be feeling alright?
I wanna visit the future and dance in a field of light
I haven't been able to stop listening to this song since it dropped in May
"Walking on a String (Alt. Version)" (feat. Matt Berninger)
this is one of the most calming and reassuring songs I've even heard even tho the lyrics are so depressing
Nearer My God
Like "Grand Paradise" and the t/t on this, this just suddenly hit me out of nowhere. I suddenly had "I must not remember" stuck in my head and haven't stopped jammed this since
Volumes 11 and 12
y'all need to get tf on this record
Best Coldplay since "Midnight"
was dancing to this at the giant LA Halloween fest and now it's a thing
|8||Sun Kil Moon|
Beautiful shit, only one I've really come back to on the album though
A pop/dance version of "Jupiter 4" by Sharon Van Etten, and it's just as fun and weird as that sounds
When I say to you Black Lightning
A Moon Shaped Pool
revisited AMSP for the first time in years, and man did this stick with me
Have One on Me
Like 8, this is the only one that's stuck with me from this album, but goddamn is this song something else
