3 albums, some guys, some lame opinions.
1Husker Du
New Day Rising

FullOfShit - it's catchy and has a dope guitar tone - 4.5
Drifter - you can definitely tell Green Day were influenced heavily by this for their first album. Idk - 4.75
TVC - The first time I heard this I was a newbie to punk so Zen Arcade was really the only HD album I heard that I was really impressed with. Looking back now, that's a rather strange thing because if how much more accessible this is. Anyway, the blend of pop songwriting with the band's original hardcore sound makes for some great ear candy. The guitar tone is especially to die for. Extremely happy I gave this another listen because this may dethrone Zen Arcade as my favorite Husker Du - 4.6
50 - Really damn solid album. The guitar is the best part; fuzzy, punchy, melodic, and not overbearlingly harsh. Songwriting was innovative AF at the time. However, I feel some songs just drift off a bit too much and get ever so slightly repetitive - 4.15

Highest Score: 4.75 (Drifter)
Lowest Score: 4.15 (50)
Average: 4.5
2Wild Beasts
Two Dancers

FullOfShit - think they misued their singer a lot, and the instrumentation was mostly okay - 3
Drifter - it was a very nice chilled out rock album - 3.5
TVC - One of those albums that is just below "snoozefest" called sucks. Just through and through boring, bland, uninteresting, and all other synonyms that come to mind. Forgettable and a waste of time - 1.8
50 - Y'all trippin, this an excellent album! Lush production, pure bliss, and excellent hybrid percussion. It does get very repetitive though. Still a sweet ass jam at night. - 3.95

Highest Score: 3.95 (50)
Lowest Score: 1.8 (TVC)
Average: 3.0625
3Mick Jenkins
The Water[s]

FullOfShit - Nails its vibe, flows like water, and has some amazing production - 5
Drifter - Mick Ass. It has some really cool moments, like the ocean waves effect in some of the songs, and some other really nice moments here and there, but the constant water references in multiple songs gets very annoying after only a couple of times. I get that's the point and its a concept album, but I cant stand it. - 1.5
TVC - It's cool; the beats are really good, but he doesn't interest me much as an MC. - 3
50 - Top-notch production and pure ~ v i b e s ~ . However, the themes get repetitive and the lyrics do leave more to be wanted sometimes - 3.75

Highest Score: 5 (FOS)
Lowest Score: 1.5 (Drifter)
Average: 3.3125
