The Old Kingdom covers the Third - Sixth Dynasties of Egypt (2686 - 2181 BC)
1Djedkare

Old Kingdom's finest. From commissioning expeditions for numerous minerals and maintaining great trade relations with other civilizations, to reforming the waning political system, ensuring the Old Kingdom would last another whole Dynasty.
2Sneferu

A conqueror who ordered the building of 3 pyramids during his reign. Sneferu continued to enhance the prosperity of his father as Egypt's first golden age was at its height.
3Djoser

Reunited Egypt during a tumultuous time, and helped usher in Egypt's first Golden Age in the Old Kingdom.
4Khafre

Ordered the construction of the Great Sphinx and the Pyramid of Khafre, two of Egypt's most famous architectural creations from the Old Kingdom.
5Khufu

Ordered the building of Egypt's most iconic masterpiece in its entire history, the Great Pyramid of Giza.
6Sahure

Sahure instituted massive reforms of the military that led to Egypt having one of the strongest navy's at the time of his reign. Led numerous expeditions for minerals to the Land of Punt, which increased Egypt's wealth considerably.
7Nyuserre

One of the most prolific builders with at least 6 pyramids attested to his reign. He reformed the administration by narrowing the divide between the nomarchs and their subjects.
8Neferirkare

Regarded as a benevolent and kind ruler by his people, Neferirkare had a strong sense of justice. He protected his courtiers and officials from mishaps and wrongdoing and also passed laws forbidding forced labor and punishing those who imposed it with forfeiture of property.
9Irimaat

Irimaat's religious reforms pushed Ra to the top of the Egyptian pantheon, something that would define Egypt for generations.
10Meryre

Despite the assassination of his father, and multiple attempted conspiracies on himself, Merrell continued to construct vast complexes all over Egypt. He favored local cults and curtailed the emerging power of the noble class, while appealing to Egypt's general populace.
