Obvs Cholesteral was high but the doctors general markers for high chol are outdated and they got tho the point of saying 'Tbh you know more the me about modern chol rsearch' Main problem for me was I travel for 3/4 months have a drink and generally cant keep to it ,(which was easier over covid) My Triglycerides where low as fuck and HDL was solid but I ended up losing TOO much weight, Looked like I had Aids (which I havent Ive tested multiple times for that after a heavy sesh) And adding whole mild or some dairy just didnt do it. But know many whos life its made better. Obvs not one diet fits all, depends what your goals are.

Experiment with garlic, ginger, honey, and peppers to bring virtually any plain vegetable dish to life. Bonus: a veggie-heavy diet requires far less fresh water and land use than meat consumption, especially beef. So not only are you enjoying good food, but you're doing it at a fraction of environmental cost! Not to mention the cost to your wallet. Cream rules

He has put the diabetes in remission for two years now.

USDA data: fresh green cabbage on average, $.70/lb. carrot, $.87/lb, dried lentil $1.87/lb, frozen spinach $2.13/lb, and i always see pork shoulder under $2/lb, usually far less, you can have a slowcooker going overnight plugged into a damn outlet if you live in a kitchenless studio or get an instapot if you are truly that lazy, unless you have kids & work double shift what could possibly be the excuse beside a severe absence of discipline "and the foods we do have available to supplement our lack of time are so depleted of anything but empty calories it’s no wonder everyone is fat and unhealthy." this is also bullshit if you look up the literature, it's on pubmd, produce has reduced in some minerals since mid century but it's more like 90% what it used to be, nowhere near "depleted of anything but empty calories." a lb bag of frozen spinach in your supermarket today, not 80 years ago with golden soil, for $1.50-$2.00 is going to net you all your manganese, magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, K, E, A, folate, half your B6, half your B2, a third of your B1, & takes 15 min to prep. all you need to worry about after that are supplied by a lb of meat and the sun "not to mention basic nutrition literacy is so low" tell me abt it

Hyperion1001 11.05.23	yeah there is much more to it than mineral analyses, and much of it has to do with the biological processes of plants. i can also link multiple studies that did find significant micronutrient deficiencies in modern crops. that doesn’t mean that the healthiest diet isn’t still mostly plant based. plant based foods will absolutely give you a well rounded nutrient profile. im not arguing that, im just saying that overall nutrient densities have declined.

ReefaJones 11.05.23	I just made a huge pot of roasted pumpkin soup the other day. A pumpkin is cheap as fuck btw. Add some coconut milk, ginger, a scoop of thai red curry paste with your standard mirepoix and you're good to go. Ideal to freeze also. Don't be lazy fucks.

Butternut, Muscat pumpkin/squash, Hokkaido squash/Red kuri squash those are the most common varieties I see here. All three taste great and are almost interchangeable as their flavor profile is quite similar.
