Just Some Random Songs I've been Loving Recently

*A very unstructured list, but I just felt like making because I've been fairly slow with activity on here. Also just be friendly in the comments I'm fine with voicing your opinion, but be nice.*
1Frank Zappa
Joe’s Garage

Joe's Garage- just a mix of normal and damb weird Zappa, I especially love the way that Zappa's vocals are introduced into the song
2Electric Light Orchestra
Out of the Blue

Mr. Blue Sky/Sweet is the Night- I actually haven't listened to the entirety of this album, but of course everyone knows Mr. Blue Sky so I just let Sweet of the Night play after because they're both really fun songs
3The Antlers
Hospice

Epilogue- Much more serious than the other two, but really this entire album would apply to this list with songs like Bear and Two, but Epilogue mixes simplicity and perfection with the guitar and vocals that makes a good close for the album.
4Lou Reed
Transformer

Perfect Day- A well known classic song is just a great mood setter
5Foo Fighters
Wasting Light

Walk- the band is at their best here just playing a damn good song
6M83
Junk

Go!- I had never even heard of the group prior to listening to this album. This is one of the two albums I had listened to specifically because of the cover art. This album was a slight let down, but the guitar work on this song is very strong
7Wilco
Schmilco

Cry All Day- This is the other album I listened to specifically because of the cover and this one I liked much better than Junk. Cry all day has just an overall pleasant reserved (in a good way) presentation that you wouldn't expect at all from the cover, but I guess Wilco has been popular for a while; I hadn't heard of them prior to this.
8Tally Hall
Good & Evil

Never Meant to Know- Much less known than the others if you don't know Tally Hall or Rob Cantor I highly recommend them for their fun layered music.
9Alice Cooper
Love It To Death

Second Coming/ Ballad of Dwight Fry- this is easily my favorite song by Alice which says a lot given his discography. Just the mix of great guitar/drum work from the band with a very powerful chorus. This has probably been my most played song on Spotify for the last 3 months.
10Treble Charger
Maybe It's Me

Red- there was a solid year I thought a cover by Walk off the Earth was originally their song, but as much as I loved their cover the original is far better. Great guitar work throughout the whole thing
11David Bowie
The Next Day

Where are We Now- Can't leave out Bowie; just a beautiful song that is very impressive considering how 24 albums in and Bowie could still make amazing music. Which even made the 25th more impressing; R.I.P.
