| Break/Breakcore recs plx
On a big Venetian Snares binge and just getting into some other breakcore acts as well (i.e xanopticon and Enduser) and I think i've managed to find a subsect of edm I might thoroughly want to dive into? My knowledge and enjoyment of p much all electronic music has always been sparse but FUCK if this hasn't been a mad fun place to start. | 1 | | Venetian Snares Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett
Hajnal is a masterpiece. The way it builds so patiently before marrying together lush classical instrumentation with schizo beats is so goddamn exciting. | 2 | | Venetian Snares Traditional Synthesizer Music
Not quite as ambitious but rather surprisingly relaxing in parts, somewhat chaotic in others. Still fun. | 3 | | xanopticon Liminal Space
This is what I imagine goes through the cybernetic mind of a 96' Dell that's been vastly obliterated by spam opening a 150 javascript programs. Cyber chaos indead. | 4 | | Enduser Even Weight
Tbh I need to jam this a good bit more, but this definitely balances aggression and melodic intervals more so than the aforementioned jams and is overall a less...loaded listen? More straightforward perhaps? idk shits good | 5 | | Knocked Loose A Tear in the Fabric of Life
Has breakdowns, close enough | |

Sonic Subjunkies - Turntable Terrorist, can be found on Live at the Suicide Club as bonus tracks.
Alec Empire - The Destroyer. Considered the first break core full-length by some, guy is also considered the founder of the genre by others.
Kid606 - Don’t Sweat the Technics, not totally breakcore but also includes tracks that could fall under Gabber and noise territory. | Supercoolguy64
