My Favorite Live Performances On Youtube
Just a short list of some of my favorite live performances on youtube
currently, let me know what you think is the best! |
1 | Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Live Aid 7/13/1985)
Freddie Mercury is one of the best, if not THE best showman of all time. When watching this video just listen to how great
his voice sounds in a live setting, there isn't a singer in the world that has a voice as good as Freddie's IMO.

2 | The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
This is my favorite Rolling Stones song and Lisa Fischer absolutely owns this song. For one of the few times Mick Jagger is
actually overshadowed by someone else in a performance. Pretty remarkable.

3 | Led Zeppelin - Dazed and Confused (Royal Albert Hall)
One of the biggest bands of all time and some of the best footage of them live. This is one of my personal favorite
Zeppelin songs and Jimmy Page and Robert Plant sound great live. Plant improvised on some lyrics and Page brings the
power.

4 | Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Born To Run
I saw Bruce in 2009 and was pleasantly surprised that he still had it as he performed for 3 1/2 hours. This performance has
been shown all over the place since it was done and I love that it mixes a few different venues into one video. Clarence
Clemons (The Big Man) is one of the best sax players I have ever heard.

5 | Phish - Chalkdust Torture
I am not the biggest Phish fan but a friend showed me this performance and I was pretty blown away. Awesome jam
sessions plus a very catchy song.
