12.11.19 | Solid list, my top 2 are the same just flipped haha. Did you check The Nightingale by chance? My #3, fucking excellent film if you haven't seen it yet. |

12.11.19 | Solid. I still need to see a few (Parasite, Uncut Gems, The Report, A Beautiful Day, Ford Vs Ferrrari, Knives Out), but this is my current list, starting at number 1:
The Irishman
Marriage Story
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Joker
The Lighthouse
Midsommar
Toy Story 4
Doctor Sleep
Ready Or Not
Ad Astra |
DarkSideOfLucca
12.11.19 | 1 is certainly 1. 2 is 2. Ready or Not, Marriage Story, Doctor Sleep and a couple others would make my list.
Also the Irishman rules, you pleb.
And I'll let you know how Uncut Gems is, I'm either seeing it tomorrow night (if I decide to be an insane person) or on Sunday. |

12.11.19 | Needs MARRIAGE STORY. Baumbach is great and it’s his best yet imo. |

12.11.19 | the peanut butter falcon for best dramedy of the year. |
Trebor.
12.12.19 | Lighthouse is my 1, Farewell 2
Hated The Souvenir but I get why people like it |

12.12.19 | @furpa The Nightingale has been on my radar all year but it never played anywhere near me. hoping to nab it on blu ray whenever it comes out |
alman219
12.12.19 | idk why but Marriage story really didn't do much for me. The performances were great and there were a few stand out scenes and monologues, but i felt like some of the dialogue was really off and i really didn't like the child actor. Also i HATED the score. sounded so smarmy like something out of a mid 90s family comedy

12.12.19 | @DarkSideOfLucca I did really like The Irishman. Maybe it was just the mood i was in when i watched it but i found it dragged a bit and probably could've benefited from being closer to 3 hours |

12.12.19 | Midsommar was so disappointing |

Considering the fact that the majority of the movies on my list are up for tons of awards/winning awards and on all the critics top 10 best of the year list, I’d say you have no idea what a good movie is. Whereas I’m a screenwriter who has studied film and know what constitutes a good movie. |

12.12.19 | Still not sure why you’re so obsessed with me, but I am pretty awesome so I can’t blame you. |

12.12.19 | Parasite crushed everything this year and it wasn't even close. |

12.12.19 | Under The Silver Lake was great tho |
Larkinhill
12.12.19 | Yeah I really need to see Parasite. Also Uncut Gems. Loved Good Time. |

12.12.19 | Parasite is the best of the year. I just saw Jo Jo Rabbit in theaters and would give it a 1 out of 5. Just plain sucked. |

12.12.19 | 1 and 2 are correct |

Damn, really? My neighbor/buddy who works at Warner Bros loaned me the screener but I haven’t watched yet. For some reason I’m not that excited to watch, but I have heard it’s good. |

12.12.19 | Guys come on, get real. I’ll just say what we’re all thinking: CATS will be the best movie of the year, and likely best of the decade. |

12.12.19 | idk why they'd bother making that movie |

12.12.19 | No one is obsessed with you, larkin. I opened up a list and you commented, so I responded. And awards don't mean shit anymore, so who cares? |
