08.20.14 | the good thing about this show, say compared to any other comedy show, is that it's not afraid to be really slow and serious and then speed up and away in another direction. really good variation between purely humorous clips and character interaction/developement. it makes it seem less superficial that it's not just about the laughs, although there are plenty of them to be found. great show |

08.21.14 | I was annoyed with how unfunny this season was. I love his standup and most of the show, and yes I know it's a different kind of comedy, but there was barely anything funny about this season at all. Still very well made though but felt a bit hollow |

08.22.14 | i thought it was very funny that his youngest daughter turned out to be smart and talented, and the look on pamela's face when she saw that his ex/mother of his children was black = priceless. besides, the doctor character is just amazing. obviously, if you like drama you will like the change, because it is very well written and the acting is pretty damn good overall |

08.22.14 | There's dozens of great dramas on TV right now that I could go to, Louie was always great at finding humor in everyday life in a really realistic and relatable way, with exaggerations obviously. Season 4 just had a lot less of that and seemed to be trying hard to be profound and constantly making some statement while losing some of what made it great in the process. Pamela and that doctor character were 95% of what was funny about this season, and they only showed up sporadically |
