01.03.14 | every time i die when i see such a list |
demigod!
01.03.14 | this is actually pretty solid for a sputnik metalcore list. none of these are offensively bad like that most of that scenecore crap (at least there isn't asking alexandria), just really average and generic picks |
FrozenVain
01.03.14 | *vomits in mouth* |
CK
01.03.14 | Misery Signals, you nutsack |
Evreaia
01.03.14 | damn this list sucks |

01.03.14 | "every time i die when i see such a list"
Every Time I Die is great and KsE is pretty good but the rest of this is bleh |
CK
01.03.14 | I actually genuinely enjoy 8 and 9 |
FearThyEvil
01.03.14 | None of these are to say horrible (except 2 and 6) but they are nowhere near the best that metalcore has to offer. |
FearThyEvil
01.03.14 | Also, out of all ETID albums that could have been picked he picks one of the their weakest albums. |
itsalltherage
01.03.14 | 1,3,5 are essential top picks & admittedly 2 is still quality for the most part as well. But the remaining selection is pretty questionable; this coming from a guy who loves metalcore in this vein like no other.
Deliver Us/Undoing Ruin, Conclusion Of An Age, Define The Great Line, Controller/Of Malice & the Magnum Heart, Dead Years/Haunt What's Left, Augment/Impulse, Darkness In The Light/The Oncoming Storm/In The Eyes Of Fire, Constellations/Rescue & Restore/Messengers, etc. - are all far more deserving of top 10 status than the rest of those if I'm being totally honest.... |
ButteryBiscuitBass
01.03.14 | Oxymoron. |
BigSneakySnatch
01.03.14 | lol youre silly |

Ecnalzen
01.03.14 | While I super agree with 5 and find 2 to be pretty decent, I find this list severely lacking in the Cave In department. |
demigod!
01.03.14 | it comes extremely close to jane doe levels at the very least. at the most it knocks it out of the ball park. you need this album. |
demigod!
01.03.14 | but Ecn, Cave In's best stuff is hardly even metalcore! |
ShitsofRain
01.03.14 | metalcore ugh |
demigod!
01.03.14 | stahp |
MalleusMaleficarum
01.03.14 | TheSecret |
Solaire
01.03.14 | 3 and 5 are alight. Listen to Botch and Misery Signals if you want to learn better metalcore. |
Ecnalzen
01.03.14 | But the metalcore by them is still pretty damn good, demi! I just love that band, tho.
Hey, listmaker, maybe check these out:
Life in Your Way - Kingdoms
Cave In - White Silence/Until Your Heart Stops |
Duckman118
01.03.14 | I mean, these are all essential albums in the genre, and are all good albums on their own, but in no way is this the top 10. |
MalleusMaleficarum
01.03.14 | are you kidding me these albums are about as essential as vagina hair |
jmh886
01.03.14 | Def would be my list 8 years ago. Still classic stuff though. Big fan of all these. Except I like some older Aild more. |

Itwasthatwas
01.04.14 | It's starting to boggle my mind how long it's been since some of these come out. Like a lot of people here I used to jam AoJB, The Oncoming Storm, As the Palaces Burn, etc all the time as a teenager but it's been over a decade since some of those now. Makes me feel old. |

01.04.14 | Funnily enough - saw Doc Coyle playing bass for Unearth at Camden Underworld about a month ago. Was good fun & seemed to be absolutely loving the breakdowns. Drummer from This Is Hell was killing it too. Sick show to say the least. Ears were ringing for dayyys |
