| Best Of Bandcamp Free: Part 1
I am now running a blog showcasing what I believe are to be the best albums on Bandcamp that also rhappen to be free! You can view the blog here: http://bestofbandcampfree.blogspot.com/rThis is a list of nine albums on the store that I think are the best, links and little write ups will be rprovided. Also please check out my blog, it's lonely over here ;-; Oh yea, and feel free to share your rfavorite free albums. kk? | 1 | | Athletics Who You Are Is Not Enough
[Post Rock] Probably one of my favorite post rock albums ever, such a brilliant blend of breathtaking
instrumental progressions and powerful vocals from the frontman, blending in soft spoken vocals with
powerful screams in and out of the melodies of the instrumentals. Capturing it's essence in words is
quite difficult, so let the music speak for itself: http://deepelmdigital.com/album/who-you-are-is-not-enough | 2 | | Rabbit Junk Pop That Pretty Thirty
[Hardclash] Luis Dubuc and Jimmy Urine have a baby, that baby is the duo Rabbit Junk basically. A genre
of music that the lead vocalist JP Anderson calls hardclash. A mixture of hardcore, electropop, metal, rock,
and electronic music they're a group who's catchy beats with a chaotic mixture of genres make them an
interesting listen. Pop That Pretty Thirty also marks their full release since 2009, which it's kinda good
they're finally releasing more than just a few singles every few years: http://rabbitjunk.bandcamp.com/ | 3 | | Guest House I'll Get Over It I Guess
[Emo] One of the more promising acts in the emo revival scene, mixing more groove and pop centered
instrumentals and lyrics over melancholy lyrics and cheerful mixes of chanting, its a fun little EP that is
definitely worth checking out: http://guesthouseband.bandcamp.com/ | 4 | | Sullen Ray BLUE MINOR
[Shoegaze] BLUE MINOR marks the first release in Sullen Ray's PRIMARY TRILOGY. The debut album from the band,
this group mixes shoegaze with psychedelic vocal styles in some pretty beautiful ways. The band is also lead by
two vocalists, female and male, so you get a fine blend and variety of tone from each member along with a nice
closing duet. Im really loving this album and I cannot wait to see what these guys have to offer in the future:

[Post Hardcore] This album is an interesting one, it blends a lot of post rock, post hardcore,
and dare I say it post grunge in a metaphoric filled album calling similar to The Devil and God
Are Raging Inside me. The riffs and main string sections are exciting and the groups frontman
does an amazing job switching from different registers of screaming and singing. It's a weird
mix of different ideas that all come out incredibly well, worth checking out and downloading: http://ofusgiants.bandcamp.com/album/nova-
scotia | 6 | | Casey & Cora Martyrs
[Post Rock/Emo] I'm pretty sure, although I might be wrong, that this album was made by a
well known user on this website. Anywho, this album is interesting in it's own right and is
vocally and instrumentally intriguing. I wish there was more I could say on it, but it isn't
exactly an album that I have sunk in fully yet, so you'll have to do listening on your own time:
http://caseyandcora.bandcamp.com/album/martyrs | 7 | | Feint One Last Time
[DnB] Feint is pretty well known to fans of Monstercat and Luquicity. Mixing fast drum beats and synth
sweeps with soothing instrumental leads is essentially what built Feint's fanbase in his starting years. With
his gift EP One Last Time he gave four great tracks away that are booming with energy and excitement. If
you like DnB I'd say it's worth the listen: http://feint.bandcamp.com/album/one-last-time-ep | 8 | | Go West Young Man AGES
[Pop Rock] Awesome mix of pop rock and soul music, everything is nice and smooth with the melodies and
riffs that every last beat of the drum and ever last lyric is catchy as hell. Like, listen to Angels or whatever
because this album is amazing and I really need more from these guys: http://gowestyoungman.bandcamp.com/ | 9 | | Haunted Candy Shop Pray For A Light To Come In
[Post Rock] This is actually one of the original 50 albums to be released on Bandcamp. It's a nice little
piece of history if I do say so myself. Post rock in an atmosphere of dark undertones and distorted leads
it's an excellent album even if it's main mixing can be a little wonky at times: http://hauntedcandyshop.bandcamp.com/ | 10 | | Nothing to see here actually oops lol | |
