Top Five Beatles Albums

The Beatles are as ingrained in Musical culture as William Shakespeare is in Literature. Here a list rof their best albums.
5 The Beatles
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Sgt. Pepper is usually considered the apex of The Beatles' career; and for good reason.
Sgt. Pepper is when The Beatles decided to stop hiding behind the lyrical guise of teen
idols. This decision resulted in the creation of a new fiction band (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely
Hearts Club Band) to help make the transition. This album is a near perfect blend of
Psychedelic Rock and Pop.
4The Beatles
The Beatles

The White Album, oh The White Album. This is The Beatles at their most explosive and their most
creative. The album does have its share of flawed tracks, but the inclusion of songs like
"Happiness is a Warm Gun" more than make up for these. This album has no central theme or
sound. The White Album doesn't flow well, and is sometimes hard to listen to; and that is exactly
what makes it great
3The Beatles
Abbey Road

On the verge of dissolving, The Beatles decided to make an album that was on one side, a
return to good old Rock n Roll and on the other, a beautiful medley of unfinished songs.
Almost all the songs outside of the B side Medley are Classic Rock Staples, while the B Side
Medley is a 16 minute romp through the fields of musical genius.
2The Beatles
Revolver

Revolver is the album when George Harrison finally tossed some of his own creative
input into the mix. This, combined with John Lennon's newly acquired disillusionment with
being the topper-most of the popper-most created something unlike anything The Beatles
had ever done before." I Want to Tell You" may be my favorite pop song of all time; and
"Tomorrow Never Knows" is simply timeless.
1The Beatles
Rubber Soul

Revolver and Rubber Soul vie for number one spot in my head constantly, but Rubber Soul
will always win out because I just can't find a flaw with it. When there's a pop track, it's a
perfect pop track. When there's some folk mixed with rock, it's a perfect mix. When Lennon
wants to write Introspective lyrics, they're perfect introspective lyrics. Ever single song on
this album oozes perfection in every sense of the word. All these tracks, well... In my life,
I've loved them all.
