09.05.15 Top 10 of 2015 already - ?! What a goo

Top 10 of 2015 already - ?! What a good 9 months.

I'm not anticipating anything else this year (minus Pentimento) and came to the conclusion that my top 10 has already topped. Hear ya go.
10Short Stories
Only Time Will Tell

I'm going to shamelessly plug my band, now. I'd say that it's a good combination of all the music listed below, and is my favorite band of all time. I love playing in this band, and I love listening to this album.
9Red City Radio
Red City Radio

I'm adding this not because I absolutely loved it, but because RCR is one of my favorite punk bands. Their debut album still frequents my earbuds every day. This album is a bit more 'mature' i suppose you could say, but the lyrics are weak, and it reminds me of Bryan Adams musically. Some definite gems, sufficient driving album.
7Sorority Noise
Joy, Departed

I really like that this band walked away from the more Rock sound and closer towards the Emo sound. Wasn't sure on them with Forgettable, but this more than sold me.
Peripheral Vision

Wasn't a fan of anything Turnover has done in past years, but have zero complaints about this album. It creates such a wonderful atmospheric experience, and though the lyrics are rough at times, the guitar work more than makes up for it.
5Enter Shikari
The Mindsweep

The only band of this genre I like. Unlike alot of the other electronic-tinged hardcore, E.S. does it well, writes about actual issues, and is a great time live.
4Knuckle Puck

Not a fan of the mega-pop-punk stuff going around, but I absolutely adore the melodies and creative drum work on this album.
3Jeff Rosenstock
We Cool?

I was never a big Bomb! guy, but something about this album really stuck with me after hearing those first two tracks. Jeff crushed it live (alongside Spraynard no doubt) and this album has such an immense variety of genres, it's hard not to love it.

I found this band maybe a year ago, and completely killed Funtitled. Ever since I heard the first single, I knew that this would rise to the top of my list. Absolutely stellar drum-work, the production is raw without being unlistenable, and I never grow tired of Pat's songwriting.
1The Wonder Years
No Closer to Heaven

This is the most devastating record I've heard since Captain We're Sinking's last LP. It's Campbell's best written stuff, as well as much more dynamic and creative than any of their records.
