08.08.23 | pretty standard sput metal choices but interesting Sabbath choice, wondering why that one is your favorite? |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | Well of course it’s standard! Of all of the obscure, strange releases i could’ve put on here for clout, it would’ve been a lie. Cuz these are in fact… the best.
Sabotage has no filler, i can’t name another Sabbath record where i don’t skip a single track |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | My choice for 3 was gunna be The Sound of Perseverance but i think the straightforward nature of SBG is preferable |
SomeCallMeTim
08.08.23 | its wild, I feel like a lot of people admit they don't care for TSOP. I love it save for the vocals really, if it had Symbolic vocals it might be my favorite Death. SBG is def my favorite of the OG 3, love the loose thrashier sound on it |

Master of Reality bish |
Ryus
08.08.23 | 1 and 4 suck but the others are good, 5 would prob make my top 10 if not top 5 |
SomeCallMeTim
08.08.23 | Master of Reality is def my favorite Sabbath |
Rowhaus
08.08.23 | pslave is easily maiden's best so nice list m/ |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | “ 1 and 4 suck”
Nah, they don’t. You’re the problem. |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | “ Master of Reality bish” After Forever is kinda lame though. Kills the energy and vibe of the album for 5 and a half minutes. It’s not even a bad song, but it’s nothing special, especially when compared to everything else the album has to offer. |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | That classic run of Sabbath is top tier, but there’s always one track that sticks out. Same deal with Led Zeppelin. |
Brabiz
08.08.23 | “ I love it save for the vocals really” baffled how popular this take is. Always thought the vocals were the best he ever did. Some of the best in extreme metal tbh. |
StormChaser
08.08.23 | I'm baffled too by people hating Chuck's TSOP vocals, he's a fucking menace on it. To me the best Maiden is Seventh Son and the best Sabbath is Black Sabbath. I do appreciate the picks though, at least someone still values widely acclaimed music |

You do understand the concept of being "widely acclaimed" right? |
pizzamachine
08.08.23 | Good bands |
SomeCallMeTim
08.08.23 | if other people say its good, then okay its good =]]] |
Rowhaus
08.08.23 | "You do understand the concept of being "widely acclaimed" right?"
I kinda get what Storm is saying tho. It's a pretty common sput tactic to bash popular music. Artists that fill stadiums are often dragged through the mud on this site. |
PizzaBear
08.08.23 | That might be true in pop and the like but look at the averages and comments for any of these albums and none are getting "dragged through the mud" |
Ryus
08.08.23 | i’m trying my best |
Brabiz
08.09.23 | I’m at a point in my life where it feels insane to discredit bands for being popular. I could have propped up some underground shit, and I do love mostly unknown, out-there shit. But no matter how unique and interesting an album is, there is a reason stuff like this is popular. |
