07.26.15 | i mean you can take into consideration the easy way out which is obviously just layering (adding/removing bass, drums, vocals, etc.) to give the impression of movement which is what most musicians do and get away with without too much trouble but i find the most exceptional songwriters weave and wind their way through a piece that's built more around the energy and structure of the piece itself rather than just melodies and sounds laid on top of eachother |
