Tyrannic 02.01.12	ok well think about it like this, i just got through the first season of game of thrones. they established an entire fantasy universe, interesting characters, and a twisty plot in the first hour. breaking bad took a half a season to set up these two fucks just kind of preparing for their doom. god damn man.

iambandersnatch 02.01.12	The dialogue is just more realistic than the norm. 99% of TV shows and movies have dialogue where the people say something witty every line, which just isn't how people in the real world talk. Also, not every show uses pauses appropriately. In a lot of shows actor A is starting his response to actor B's line practically before actor B finishes the line; in real life you would have to pause for a sec to think about what's going on/what was said before responding.

What you're saying the dialogue is realistic right? well real life dialogue IS mediocre most of the time." It's hard to become immersed in a show/movie when the dialogue is completely unbelievable. Give me at least a dash of realism over absurdly overpompous/bombastic writing any day of the week. If you shoot them right, realistic stories and dialogue can be quite compelling.
TMobotron 02.02.12	Are people really calling the first half of season 4 boring? There wasn't some big climactic event or anything, but every fucking scene of that season was amazing IMO. I loved the show up until 4 but the entire season 4 was just unbelievable IMO.
