Ghost type moves are, and always have been, super-effective against Psychic types. There were just two problems with this in Red: one, the strongest ghost-type move that did regular damage was Lick, which was something like 20 base power (Night Shade's damage was equal to your level); and two, the only ghost-type Pokemon in Red were all also half-Poison, so they were weak to Psychic type moves anyways.
But yeah. Five generations on with absolutely no changes to it whatsoever, and Earthquake is STILL the best move in the game. Also love Megahorn, Crunch, Surf, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic and Brave Bird. Also love Lugia and Ho-Oh's signature moves (Aeroblast and Sacred Fire). |

Def. and Speed all at once; Petal Dance is a 120 BP grass move that works off of Spe. Att., and the ability Own Tempo stops her from getting confused when it's done destroying worlds. |
