Splendour - Day 2
Day 2 of the Splendour in the Grass Festival. Not as eventful as yesterday, but lots of fun nonetheless. Here is who i saw: |
1 | | Tim & Jean Like What
Imagine if MGMT didn't write gay songs. They would sound a little like this band. |
2 | | The Jezabels Dark Storm
Was never really a big fan of these guys but their live show has won me over. Highly recommended, and the singer is so hot. |
3 | | Foster the People Torches
Great live show. Pretty much played the whole album. Pumped Up Kicks, Helena Beat and Houdini really got the crowd wet |
4 | | Sparkadia The Great Impression
Fuckin ruled |
5 | | Kele The Boxer
Album was pretty gay (lol) but puts on a great show. He pretty much played dubstep versions of all the good Bloc Party songs. Awesome. |
6 | | Muscles Guns Babes Lemonade
Muscles. |
7 | | The Mars Volta Octahedron
Well, besides from getting the name of the city wrong several time (It's 'Woodford' Cedric, not 'Brisbane'...) they were pretty much flawless. They played about 45 min of new unreleased shit was is sounding really good. The only released songs they played were Inertiatic ESP and some other song of Bedlam which i can't remember the name of. Anyway they were amazing. |
8 | | The Living End The Living End
Meh. |
9 | | Regina Spektor Far
She's such a cutie = ) |
10 | | PNAU PNAU
To close the night, it was either fight my way through the crowd and see Jane's Addiction (who i have already seen twice) or dump two more pills and dance like a retard to PNAU. Not much of a decision really. |
