07.19.11 | 16 was actually released in 1999, but the sslp still beats it. this said, i hope to fucking god you'd pick the mmlp for 2000. | YetAnotherBrick
07.19.11 | fuck 2. | discovolante
07.19.11 | Sublime, I knew it was released in 99. But I thought that the album didn't really blow up till 2000 came along. And I would pick the MMLP, but I already have Em on here. I dont wanna make it so that one artist owns more than one year, ya know? And Brick, why are you hating on the Beasties? Thats a rap classic! | FromDaHood
07.19.11 | 2 is so good, fuck off Brick | ECRbubs
07.19.11 | 2 is amazing | blazebaileyfinnegan3
07.19.11 | Doggystle is so much better than tha dogg father IMO.
Haven't heard to much rass kass and 2 live krew first is hilarious but there's good stuff on here.
Needs some wu-tang or raekwon/meth/ghostface solo albums.
mobb deep - infamous, hell on earth or murda musik
Mf doom or madvillian
Cypress hill - black sunday
Nwa, biggie - ready to die, big pun - capitol punishment
It's a cool list tho, idk why I felt like I needed to give you recs lol you prob heard that shit but ya I'd have some of those for sure. And IMO nas is the best rapper ever. K im drunk
| blazebaileyfinnegan3
07.19.11 | Oh i didn't see 36 chambers there whoopz | qwe3
07.19.11 | this list is so good and lol at 2 sucking its a pillar of rap
but 2pacalypse Now is baaaaaad | blazebaileyfinnegan3
07.19.11 | 2 is such a classic. Also mad props on 6 | discovolante
07.19.11 | Blaze, you are most definitely correct on Nas being the best rapper. And whether you were drunk or sober, I agree with that statement to the fullest lol. And qwe, I realize that 2Pacalypse Now isn't exactly produced tightly like how Pac's later albums would be, but I just admire the fuck outta the revolutionary and lyrical image Pac portrayed in that album. And that is exactly why I was not a big fan of his newer shit on Death Row. He wasn't exactly as lyrical as he could've been, but, nonetheless, Pac is a pretty solid MC, which everyone knows. | MO
07.19.11 | sick list | discovolante
07.19.11 | Thank you, Mr. Metallic. | foreverendeared
07.19.11 | Black Star (1998), Nia (2000), and Anghellic (2001) | discovolante
07.19.11 | Oooo! Very nice finds, Mr. Forever. I will definitely replace Ras with Tech. But I dont know about replacing Red. I absolutely adore that album... but Tech is definitely coming in. | foreverendeared
07.19.11 | Yeah it's got to be hard choosing just one album per year. | Trebor.
07.19.11 | Paul's Boutique kills 2 though | discovolante
07.19.11 | Hmm... true, but then again, in my opinion, Check Your Head wrecks all of those. lol. But then again, at least the Beasties are up on here. Rap legends. | discovolante
07.19.11 | And yes it was, Mr. Forever. It took me damn near two hours to make this list perfect lol | qwe3
07.20.11 | "And qwe, I realize that 2Pacalypse Now isn't exactly produced tightly like how Pac's later albums would be, but I just admire the fuck outta the revolutionary and lyrical image Pac portrayed in that album. "
idk man i've never thought he was good lyrically ever, but what ive always admired bout pac was how he could bring emotions to his music so credibly which a lot of rappers fail to do. | discovolante
07.20.11 | Hmmm... thats true too. Good point. | YetAnotherBrick
07.20.11 | 2's just a bunch of shitty rhyming and yelling. it's annoying as hell. |
