Inventors of heavy metal. Monster riffs. Many, many great songs.

Everybody knows why.
13U2

Though 3 decades one of the worlds biggest bands. Very, very good moody
rock.
12Suede

Fantastic Bowie inspired britpop. So delicate songs. And Butlers guitar on
thier to first albums is in a world of its own.
11Metallica

Though the 80s and also the black album the most interesting heavy metal
band. Monster riffs. Great melodies. Super lead guitar work
10Led Zeppelin

Biggest hard rock band ever. So many iconic super songs. Page of cause a
legend.
9Pearl Jam

Best grunge ever. And Vedder one of the best singers ever.
8The Verve

Britpop at its best. So depressing songs. So sad melodies.
7Queen

Perfect blend of "poppish" songs/melodies and rock music. Freddie one of
the biggest frontmen ever. Brian May always plays good guitar.
6Guns N Roses

Best hard rock band. Many, many great songs. Axel a very interesting
frontman when he wants to. Slash my favorite guitarist nr. 2.
5David Bowie

His 70s rock defined glam rock, classic 70 rock and electronic music.
Fantastic songs and melodies. Fantastic music.
4Madrugada

Norwegian alt rock/indie. Fantastic singer. Very moody songs. Great guitar.
Very good melodies.
3Porcupine Tree

Best band the last 10 years. Very interesting music and with a lot prog and
still "mainstream". Some of the best musicians in the world.
2Doors

Love the psychedelic sound. Morrisons cries to the world and deep lyrics.
Always get you high.
1Pink Floyd

Noone sounds like Pink FLoyd. Gilmours fantastic guitar. Waters fantastic
lyrics. Big soundscapes. Music you get high on.
