| New Funeral for a Friend
Well, the inevitable happened. Funeral for a Friend's rmuch anticipated r5th album, Welcome Home Armageddon, finally has rleaked. Although rI pre-ordered it months ago, I couldn't resist getting a rjump on the rofficial release day, and I must say, this is easily their rbest release rsince... ever. Yes, the impossible has happened, FFAF rnot only became rrelavent again, but also released an album that topped rtheir debut. rList is my favorite FFAF songs INCLUDING songs off rWHA. | | 1 | Funeral for a Friend The End of Nothing | | 2 | Damned if You Do, Dead if You Don't | | 3 | Hospitality | | 4 | Red is the New Black | | 5 | Broken Foundation | | 6 | Escape Artists Never Die | | 7 | Man Alive | | 8 | Ghosts | | 9 | All the Rage | | 10 | Built to Last | |

03.07.11 | It's def not their best (casually), but does have a few good songs.
The singing is pretty bad at times on this release.. | accompliceofmydeath
03.07.11 | I just checked out a song online. It's not too bad, but nothing special. | Baphomet
03.07.11 | oh my god I need to get it now
like right fucking now
and hold on to your ass cause this will fuck your ass backwards | HaloDude442
03.07.11 | i actually really like the new sound merged with their older sound, and the result is an extremely solid album with pretty much zero filler | THIEF
03.07.11 | The vocals are the one thing that gets me on this album, along with a lack of flow on some songs (ie Front Row Seats), but other than that, this album is exactly what I've been waiting for.
And yes NorwichScene, its better than Casually. | NorwichScene
03.08.11 | Think Matt has somehow got worse at singing, sounds like an ameatur at times on this..
| Leatherneck
03.08.11 | Broken Foundation fucking slays, and i have to agree on the vocals but they kinda fit the production anyways. | THIEF
03.10.11 | @NorwichScene: Seriously. I noticed the same thing on M&H. I would just say they've done less post production since Hours, but his vocals also sounded better on Casually Dressed. I wonder how he sounds live now days? |
