TheSpirit 08.16.10	I don't think it would be too crazy for more tags for metal subgenres As long as they were sub-genres within reason (drone metal, stoner metal etc...) there really is no reason not to have them. It would give new-lookers a better idea of what the band would sound like, and the site would be super organized. Sure, you have the dumb users who can't distinguish what is what, but that's why the mods have to approve band edits.

eternium 08.16.10	Metal can be split into doom, death, and black, as well as metal itself for bands that don't fit into the others. Punk should be punk, hardcore, and post-hardcore (and rid of classic punk). Alt rock and indie should be two more. Metalcore of course. I agree with ambient. Drone should go under doom.

Deviant. 08.16.10	One thing that could become an issue is users just chucking on ridiculous genre tags onto artists; I mean, we already have retard users making retard edits to artists/bands. I could just imagine users breaking out into arguments over a certain tag; "No they're drone, not doom etc". I'm all for increased genre tagging, but there needs to be a limit At least having standard tags of 'Metal' and 'Electronica' it keeps things simple
