Wilco Ranked |
1 | | Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Like nothing I'v ever heard before, They wrote this one for the album as a whole, not song by song. |
2 | | Wilco Being There
Jeff Tweedy took money out of his own pocket to price this as a single disk album even though it contained two disks. The album is filled with memorable songs and was a great change from their major country influence debut. |
3 | | Wilco Sky Blue Sky
This one was made without using pro-tunes, to create more jam oriented songs. It's a great headphone song to close your eyes to as well as pick you up when you're down. |
4 | | Wilco Summerteeth
Don't be fooled by the bad album opener "Cant Stand It." This album contains many Wilco classics like "She's a Jar," "Via Chicago," and "Pieholden Suite." |
5 | | Wilco A Ghost Is Born
The follow up to "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" followed much of the same formula, but achieved a totally different sound. "Kidsmoke" will always be a personal favorite. |
6 | | Wilco Wilco (The Album)
This is in no way a bad album, but in no way surpasses some of their others. "One Wing" and of course "Bull Black Nova" were the highlights for this release. |
7 | | Wilco A.M.
Released shorty after Tweedy's previous band; Uncle Tupelo split up. The album is not a major change from his previous project and feels like it was a rushed release. It's very country oriented which isn't a bad thing on it's own, just the fact that the album wasn't very original is what brings it down. |
8 | | Wilco Kicking Television: Live In Chicago
A live release which I questioned if it should even be included or not. It is placed last simply because the album lacked much energy at all from the songs being played. |
