03.31.10 | Im specifically looking at the ibanez sr505 and the spector legend 5 |

03.31.10 | Ah, can't really go wrong with either brand.. |

03.31.10 | I'd go with a Spector. |

03.31.10 | I'd go with Ibanez, but you should shop around everywhere, every brand, read every review, watch videos on YouTube of them, and even try to get decent used ones on eBay (that's how I got my tube amp for over a hundred dollars cheaper). |

03.31.10 | dont get me wrong man, ive looked so hard, im left handed you see, which means i have to look 10 times harder aha.
this also makes it near impossible to try anything before i buy it as most stores only have 1 or 2 shitty leftys lying around.
But i have tried the ibanez and loved the feel and tone controls, but ive been told spector are incredible. |

03.31.10 | Get a Gibson Thunderbird. |

03.31.10 | Go to a Guitar Center if you can and have a blast. Yeah, it may be the big business Wal-Mart of instruments, BUT THERE'S SO MUCH STUFF. It's like a playground.
Surely you'll find something you really like and can then shop around for a better price. |

04.01.10 | I take it thats in the USA?
I would love to but theres a lack of chain music stores in the uk, i think the best i can do is to try a right handed spector and others, get the feel for them and make a general judgement based on that, its the best i can do really.
Thanks. |

04.01.10 | Your situation is almost as bad as mine.
My situation is that I don't have money, or a band. |

04.01.10 | If 900 is your max, stick with Ibanez. If cost was not a problem, definitely Warwick. |

04.01.10 | Im really torn between the two!
My first bass was one of the warick rock basses aha.
And i used to play a warwick corvette 4 string, ended up trading it for an American deluxe jazz, i had a major thing for jazz basses a year back, i still kinda do. |

04.01.10 | If I had enough money and played bass, I'd get a Thunderbird. |
