03.14.10 | Inland Empire is his best film in my opinion.
All of his films are amazing, but Dune and Wild at Heart kind of fall flat.
Also watch The Straight Story, his mos accessible film yet, but really touching |

03.14.10 | Ah right thanks man, i have to say Inland Empire was the one i was leaning towards the most.
I have heard about the failings of Dune aswell aha. |
porch
03.14.10 | don't start with inland empire |
supertouchox2
03.14.10 | How come?
|
porch
03.14.10 | cos it's probably his weirdest and most difficult movie and it'll probably just put you off the others. try blue velvet first |
supertouchox2
03.14.10 | Im new to his style, but im not new to Surrialist/Unorthadox film so i dont think the "wierdness" would put me off.
But i do know what you mean, plus blue velvelt is twice the price of inland empire at my local shop. |

03.14.10 | mulholland's his best imo but blue velvet's more accessible and almost equally as mind-blowing so yeah watch that first

03.14.10 | twin peaks is his most accessible project to date obviously since it aired on cbs for two years
mulholland dr is one of my favorite films of all-time. i just love lynch's ability to create a truly unique atmosphere in each of his movies |

03.14.10 | Excellent films. We touched on Lost Highway at uni last semester - I'd definately recommend reading some of the theory around them, really opens it up to what's going on. |
Electric City
03.14.10 | mulholland drive is my favorite movie ever

joshuatree

05.12.10 | Oh by the way dude, if you want to get into another mindblowing director, try David Cronenberg films.
Try and watch them in this order:
1 - Videodrome
2 - The Fly
3 - eXistenZ
4 - Naked Lunch
5 - Dead Ringers
6 - Spider
7 - Crash
8 - Any other of his films |

05.12.10 | I read some 'explanations' of Twin Peaks and the concept, if accurately reported, is beyond crazy. Either way, absolute amazing series. I watched 'em when I was a kid and they blew my mind. |
