MyRamona's top 10 Vocalists
A list dedicated to my favourite vocalists. |
1 | Freddie mercury
A real shownman with a divine power. His impressive range and the pure driving force behind his voice propells hime to the number 1 spot. |
2 | Steven Tyler
A huge range, and a powerful voice that shows it's presence. His Hard Rock stylings, squeals included make Steven Tyler a vocalist to be reckoned with. |
3 | River Cuomo
Although boyishly innocent, Cuomo's voice is undeniably confident and consistent. Also, for a smaller person, has a pretty hefty pair of lungs. |
4 | Thom Yorke
Yorke's vocals are so emotional and powerful, you wouldn't expect it from a man with such physical attributes as Thom Yorke. The ending of Creep proves his ability and secures him in the top 4. |
5 | James Hetfield
From the Thrash screams of Kill em all to the bluesy hard rocking black album, James has provided strong vocals that compliment his music like peas and carrots. |
6 | lemmy
Everyone loves a bit of rough, you know the sound of someone jackhammering your ear. Lemmy's grotty low pitched vocals are one of a kind. Once he's gone, there will never be another. |
7 | Joey Ramone
I adore Joeys dumb pop-punky lyrics. every signature phrase, every harmony with Dee-Dee turns a Ramones song into a simple masterpiece. |
8 | Alex Kapranos
For being so good at writing lyrics with a wide array of language and other technical devices, kapranos gets a place at number 8 for being such an energetic and upfront new vocalists of all time. |
9 | Damien Albarn
just for being so damn English. I love the English charm he presents so well in Every Blur song. Not to mention the fact that his voice is very original and fun to sing along to. |
10 | Axl Rose
You either love him or hate him. I think his voice is again one of a kind, as it is powerful. Axl can also boast a very impressive range. |
