| My Top 10 Albums | 1 | | Thrice Vheissu
Again and again, I'm just in awe of every song on this. I get chills every few seconds. After years of listening, from beginning to end it's still just a musically moving album. Favorite album of all time. | 2 | | He Is Legend I Am Hollywood
If you asked me the best HIL album, it would definitely be It Hates You. If you asked me my favorite, probably still IHY, but they're my favorite band and this got me started on them and it holds so many memories that it's the one on the list. | 3 | | The Used The Used
It's so sad where they ended up. This album shaped my music tastes so much and my drumming style comes largely from Brenden Steineckert. Classic album that is sorely missed by me. | 4 | | Underoath Define the Great Line
Personal opinion, greatest metalcore album of all time. These guys got me into heavier music, and I freakin love what they've become. | 5 | | Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth III
One of the very first great alternative songs I ever really listened after that period when I expanded from only classic rock, was Favor House Atlantic, and Coheed is still such an epic band. | 6 | | The Sleeping Questions and Answers
First live band I ever saw. Opener for a concert that I now am kinda embarrassed about, but they were great, and I didn't realize until recently how solid this whole album is from beginning to end. | 7 | | Every Time I Die The Big Dirty
I don't have alot to say about this one. It's just such a great, dirty southern hardcore release. | 8 | | The Fall of Troy Manipulator
In the peak of my progressive phase, this album was what it was all about. So technical and interesting. | 9 | | Switchfoot Oh! Gravity
Maybe alot of people will disagree with me, but this is Switchfoot's best effort to date. They developed so much musically since the Beautiful Letdown (which is still great). I love the depth of this record. | 10 | | Bayside The Walking Wounded
Again, not much to say. Just so many perfectly written melodies. The lyrics and the music fit so well together. Definitely a nostalgic, car ride with friends, singalong type album. | |

11.17.09 | 0 and thats it for me | Athom
11.17.09 | that show that the sleeping played at wouldnt be with Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, and Matchbook Romance back in 04 now would it? | Relinquished
11.17.09 | 4 and thats it for me | ninjuice
11.17.09 | 1, 4 and 5 rule guys wtf | Masochist
11.17.09 | redsky - If that's actually the one being referred to, then I wouldn't be embarrassed at all (well...maybe I would about MR, because I think that was pre-'Voices').
Anyways, give it up for the first 5, all of them range from Great (#3) to EPIC WIN (#2). | Athom
11.17.09 | that show was great. TBS headlined and Fall Out Boy played almost all of Take This to Your Grave. Matchbook Romance put on a really good live show and at the time I thought they were the shit. | Aids
11.18.09 | 1 is on my top 10, haven't heard the rest. | FreePizzaDay
11.18.09 | 1 and 5 are good. | liveloud4life
11.18.09 | The show being referred to was a Hawthorne Heights headline tour, lol. Also Relient K, Emery, and Plain White T's. At the time, I was excited about Relient K chiefly and Hawthorne Heights and PWT's. I'd never heard Emery or the Sleeping. Looking back I still love Relient K and I'd kill to see Emery and the Sleeping again now that I know their catalogue, but I hate admitting that I wanted to see HH and PWT's. | AmericnZero02
11.18.09 | DTGL would definitely be in my top 10. There's definitely some other good stuff here too. If I'm wanting to get into Bayside is 10 a good place to start? | liveloud4life
11.18.09 | I'd say so. Thinking about it, I don't think there really is a bad place. They're all reall solid. Shudder is great. S/T is too. I never gave Sirens and Condolences that much time but it's not bad for a first album. |
