October Was A Great Month For Metal.

I thought I would share with all of you fellow metalheads a selection of albums I've purchased this month. Please note, the top 9 albums on this list were purchased this weekend while I was in Toronto, Ontario.
1Incantation
The Infernal Storm

Needed some more stuff by these guys.
2Goatfire
Sacrophobic Initiation

Has 'kvlt' written all over the album cover and I thought I would give it a try.
3Carcass
Reek of Putrefaction

I needed this to complete their discography in my collection.
4Terrorizer
World Downfall

Found this for dirt cheap and is essential grind.
5King Crimson
Red

Apparently this is their best album...
6Altar of Plagues
Sol (EP)

Found this used and I'm liking this more than their debut full length.
7 Lanterna
Elm Street

One of the best ambient rock bands in existence.
8Anacrusis
Manic Impressions

Willie has this as a 5/5. Willie has better tastes than most of you. You can see why I picked this up.
9Kataxu
Hunger of Elements

Found this used and I haven't been able to get this anywhere else for under $20 (found this for $10). I love symphonic black metal and this sounds mighty good (thanks Balls and A.K.).
10Vader
Necropolis

This was ok for standard death metal but nothing you haven't heard before.
11Behemoth
Demigod
12Behemoth
The Apostasy
13 Primordial
A Journeys End

If you think Primordial's newer material is fantastic, you really need to listen to their back catalogue.
14Culted
Below The Thunders Of The Upper Deep

Doom metal mixed with raspy black metal vocals and great homage to old Black Sabbath.
15Marduk
Wormwood

Surprisingly solid if you're into typical brutal black metal.
16Giant Squid
The Ichthyologist

A diverse mix of many metal sub-genres and just plain interesting.
17Baroness
Blue Record

09s most disappointing record.
18Greymachine
Disconnected

Whoring my own review hahaha.
19Dethklok
The Dethalbum II

As quoted from fireaboveicebelow:
"I hope all the other american bands listen to this and wonder how a joke band can effortlessly surpass them in all aspects"
20Converge
Axe to Fall

Metal album of the year. Hard to believe from someone who never really took interest in this band before.
21Belphegor
Walpurgis Rites - Hexenwahn

Another catchy black metal album.
22Windir
1184

Just bought their entire discography and this is the standout album.
23Gwar
Beyond Hell

"What? Gwar sucks man!"
24Skeletonwitch
Breathing the Fire

Best throwback thrash album I've heard this year. Catchy and fun!
25Rwake
Voices of Omens

Lost my copy of this and repurchased it. It sucks that alot of people around here have never heard this album before (and you call yourselves fans of sludge).
26Pearl Jam
Backspacer

Old highschool favourite still deserves my attention.
27Pearl Jam
Pearl Jam
28Gorgoroth
Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt

A piece of shit from start to finish and I intend on ripping this album a new one. 1.5/5
29Between the Buried and Me
The Great Misdirect

Colours Version 2.0. Nothing more, nothing less. Also, the hyped drum solo is nothing spectacular.
30The Red Chord
Fed Through the Teeth Machine

One of the best bands on the scene who can seamlessly amalgamate grind, death metal, and hardcore. Awesome stuff.
