'09 Live Shows

Bands I've seen in 09, ranked in order of awesomeness.
1The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Worse Than Alone

Seriously the most energetic and amazing live show that I have ever seen, and with only Jase on
vocals since Justin left, its amazing that they STILL managed to slay completely.
2Bring Me The Horizon
Suicide Season

Tied with TNTLLU for best show, this band brings everything they've got to the stage and it fucking
owns. Crazy ass pits.
3Enter Shikari
Common Dreads

Amazing amazing amazing. Its like a nightclub on crack. Glowsticks everywhere. Rou was jumping off
of shit that was not meant to be jumped off, i.e. second floor balconies.
4Silverstein
A Shipwreck In The Sand

Extremely tight live, played well and Shane was spot on the whole time.
5Blessthefall
Witness

New album is meh, but this live show was damn good. Really loud, and Frisby can scream something
brutal on stage.
6August Burns Red
Constellations

Mostly played the breakdown laden songs that the crowd likes, and it was a damn good performance.
7Escape the Fate
This War Is Ours

New album is shit, but they played mostly old stuff, and the new jams they played were actually
pretty entertaining. Craig handles old material well.
8Architects
Hollow Crown

Nothing exceptional, but they played well and got the crowd moving, sounded pretty good, heavy
bass. Couldn't hear shit by the end of their set.
9Iwrestledabearonce
It's All Happening

They played great, and Krysta is a beast, but the crowd sucked hard.
10A Skylit Drive
Adelphia

Jag sounded decent. Other than that, forgettable.
11Alesana
Where Myth Fades To Legend

Wore laughably ugly all-white uniforms, and the songs translate horribly to live playing. Sounded like
the album was played on a broken record player.
12Fall from Grace
Fall from Grace

Completely average, didn't get the crowd moving, and the frontman looks like Billie Joe Armstrong on
crack.
13Arlington Sleeps
The Whole World Is Sleeping Sound

Whole performance brought the lulz. Screamer was good. Singer sucked dick as always and the
guitarist is a stage hogging faggot.
