07.31.09 | I remembered why I could never listen to an entire dredg album after seeing about 3 songs from them live. All of the songs start sounding the same and the vocals get more and more annoying. I couldn't stand Dredg. I was the first one in the venue so I was dead center, I think I almost fell asleep during their set, and I know they saw it.
Rx was great, but I couldn't really enjoy it. Everyone within my area was an asshole. Everyone was pushing and shoving trying to get on the rail. I was squeezed between the people next to me and literally squished on the rail the entire time. People on the rail were swapping places for people behind them because it was that bad. I've been to countless death metal shows, and nothing was worse than the crowd at this show, I don't know what it was, but everyone was an asshole. |
